Does 212X only fit the M554dn?

What is the difference between 212A and 212X?
212A = standard yield, 212X = high-yield (XL) with significantly more pages – with the same print quality. 212X reduces the cost per page.
Which maintenance parts are relevant?
Fuser kit (service life approx. 150,000 p.) and toner collection unit (approx. 54,000 p.). An additional 550-sheet tray increases capacity to up to 1,200 sheets.
How do I optimize color output?
Start calibration/cleaning, select the correct paper type, check cartridge seating and print a test page. In case of color cast, change paper if necessary or use image adjustment in the driver.
Can firmware updates affect compatible cartridges?
